Custom software · Vancouver, BC & Canada

Custom software built around your organization.

From our Vancouver base, we build web applications, member platforms and integrations for organizations across British Columbia and Canada. Our work spans new product development, application modernization and the systems that support daily operations.

Build the right thing first

Custom software is appropriate when your requirements extend beyond what available products can support. We begin with the people doing the work: what they need to accomplish, what gets in the way and how a first release could help.

We assess whether a new application, an integration or improvements to your existing software will best serve those requirements.

What we can help you build

  • Customer and member portals: account access, resources, collaboration and self-service workflows.
  • Internal business applications: replace fragile handoffs and disconnected spreadsheets with a shared workflow.
  • Digital products and MVPs: test a product idea with a focused, usable first release.
  • Integrations and modernization: connect services and update the parts of a legacy application that hold your team back.

From discovery to operation

We propose a delivery plan with a defined scope, visible milestones and regular opportunities to review working software. Technical decisions should account for maintenance, access control, testing and deployment from the start.

Before release, we agree on acceptance criteria and the operational handover: who owns the code and infrastructure, how issues are reported and what support includes. The delivery plan records these responsibilities before development reaches its final stages.

A scoped discovery engagement

Start here when the workflow is clear enough to investigate but the build, integration or migration path is uncertain. Bring the people who own the process, a walkthrough of the current system, an approved data sample where appropriate, and the budget or deadline constraints.

We define a discovery engagement covering the priority user journey, current systems, permission needs and the uncertainties that could change the build. The agreed outputs can include a first-release brief, build/buy/integrate comparison, technical outline and estimate with explicit assumptions.

Discovery gives you a basis for deciding whether to proceed, refine the scope or pursue another approach. You can use the findings with your own team. Deliverables, responsibilities, schedule and fees are agreed before work begins, with any subsequent build commissioned separately.

Prepare your project brief or discuss your requirements.

Relevant work

For Healthy Aging CORE, we rebuilt a community platform with search, group collaboration and event registration. For AIDRIVERS, we developed the AIFO fleet-management MVP. Both projects required software designed around the domain, its users and a defined delivery scope.

Our discovery guide shows how a brief, option comparison, acceptance checks and handover plan fit together.

Before we begin

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Can you work with our existing software?

Yes. We start by reviewing the code, dependencies, hosting and business workflows. That review helps us recommend targeted improvements, a phased modernization or a new build.

How much will a custom build cost?

We base the proposal on the first-release scope, integrations, data migration and operating requirements. Where those are uncertain, a discovery engagement provides the information needed for a reliable estimate.

What happens after launch?

We agree on support responsibilities before launch. Ongoing maintenance can be scoped with the project or discussed through our Software Care Plan, depending on the application.
