For nonprofits & associations
More capacity for the work that matters.
Technology should help your team deliver its mission. We build community platforms, connect everyday tools and improve workflows with your staff, members and resources in mind.
Software for service delivery and community participation
Nonprofits and associations often serve several audiences with a small team: staff, volunteers, members, funders and the communities they support. A new system has to fit those relationships and the resources available to maintain it.
We help you prioritize improvements and choose between custom development, existing platforms and integrations.
Where we can help
- Member and community platforms: searchable resources, collaboration spaces and event workflows.
- Public websites: accessible information, manageable content and clear paths for people seeking support.
- Operational integrations: connect intake, records and reporting across the tools you already use.
- Ongoing software care: review maintenance and support needs for the platforms your organization depends on.
Experience with community organizations
For Healthy Aging CORE, we rebuilt a platform with search, group collaboration and event registration. For Men’s Sheds Canada, we built a WordPress website with an interactive map, an event calendar and bilingual content support.
Our work connects the public experience with the publishing, administration and access controls that staff need to operate the service.
Planning a member platform? Our nonprofit member portal requirements guide includes concrete acceptance checks for guest access, closed groups, staff publishing and regional events, plus a worksheet you can bring to discovery.
Choose the right form of support
Match the engagement to the responsibility you need covered:
- A new platform or substantial change: custom software development for a defined build, with discovery, delivery and handover.
- Recurring communications and digital tasks: RapidIteration One is an early-access pilot for work such as newsletters, website updates and report drafts. Your team supplies approved sources and reviews work before delivery.
- Maintenance of an existing application: Software Care starts with a technical health check and an agreed support scope.
- Staff cybersecurity awareness: the training program combines live sessions, reinforcement and completion records, with published program fees.
If your next decision is whether to buy, integrate or build, start with technology consulting. We can assess options against your budget, staff capacity and funder requirements before you commit to implementation.
Before we begin
Good questions.
Clear answers.
Can you work with a small internal team?
Yes. We scope the work around the people who will use and maintain it, including training, documentation and the support needed after launch. The aim is to avoid adding a system your team cannot operate.
Should we buy a platform or build one?
That depends on the workflow, total cost and how much flexibility you need. We consider available products and integrations before recommending custom software.
Can you help with accessibility and bilingual content?
We can include accessibility requirements and multilingual publishing in the scope. The target standard, testing approach, content ownership and translation responsibilities should be agreed during discovery.
